Work Activities and Duties
The various functions include but are not limited to the following activities:

  • Sales areas to include commercial audio, video, control, lighting, teleconferencing, video conferencing, meeting/collaboration space design and IT services.
  • Market segments include but are not limited to mid-size and enterprise business, higher education, hospitality and healthcare.
  • Cultivate different networks for lead generation.
  • Generate and manage sales leads.
  • Work with the engineering department to generate a budget, proposal and scope of work.
  • Present to the client and close the sale.
  • Monitor the status of ongoing projects.
  • Lead and/or participate in client walk-thru and training.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to generate referrals and continuing business.


Competencies and Qualifications
The Account Manager should possess the following knowledge, skills, abilities, and characteristics to be successful in this position:

  • Previous sales experience with a related company in the Central Florida area
  • Proven track record managing, maintaining and building business relationships
  • Ability to think strategically and perform research
  • Strong communication skills with attention to details and timeliness
  • Highly outgoing
  • An understanding of audio visual systems and technical drawings is highly desirable
  • Personal integrity and exceptional ethics
